The Andhra Pradesh government has taken another step to improve transparency and governance in the state. The process has started for cleansing in the Department of Stamps and Registration. The reforms have been started in the Department of Registrations which is facing allegations of corruption, and offerings. From now on the flexibility of sellers and buyers creating documents and applying online has been provided. It has been reported that with this option the transparency in the registration department will improve gradually.
The government has announced that the online registration process will come into effect from 1st November in AP. This will enable the sellers of related properties to make documents themselves and pay the registration fee online. Buyers and sellers do not have to wait for hours and days at the registration offices for their work.
Not only creating their documentation of their activity, but they also have the option to get a time slot by uploading on the registration department website. The new policy came into effect in the sub-registrar offices in Vishakapatnam and Krishna District. The errors were sorted and rectified reportedly.
