Despite KCR and KTR’s fiats, the dissatisfaction over the cabinet rejig is continuing. Though KCR managed to bring former Home Minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy, Jogu Ramanna, Mynampally Hanumantha Rao and others around, there seem to be many more MLAs who are unhappy with being left out. The latest MLA to show his dissent is Bodhan MLA Shakil Ahmed.
Shakil, who was deeply unhappy with being left out in the rejig, went straight to BJP MP from Nizamabad Aravind Dharmapuri. He offered him a bouquet and greeted him. He said he would announce his future course of action on Monday. This is a clear signal that he might even join the BJP.
The most surprising thing is that Shakil Ahmed is a known supporter of KCR’s daughter Kavitha Kalwakuntla and is considered her camp follower. If he changes the party ahead of the municipal elections, it could have significant impact on the outcome. he episode shows that a lot many TRS MLAs are in touch with the BJP. This should definitely worry KCR and KTR.
